Things I did this weekend
This weekend was one of the greatest ones I’ve had.
- Made a Day of the Dead altar
- Hookah time
- Painted my face and dressed as a totem pole
- Worked at a center that helps Hispanic immigrants learn English and adapt to American lifestyles

- Visited my friend Kevin and went to the most bizarre restaurant with him

Happy News of the Day
One of the heads of my major’s department told me she thinks I could get in to an Ivy League university for graduate school!
Outwardly, I was excited and talked to her about it, but my jaw dropped and I danced around internally.

Things I really love right now
- Flying kites. I did it for the first time today and kind of had a knack for it.
- Having candles burning.
- Playing with my goddog.
- Riding a bicycle around town, especially with the leaves falling and crisp temperatures.
- The Halloween season: making my costume, Autumn weather, decor, everything.
- Black coffee.
- Drawing and designing things for homework.
